Waterfall Model for the SDLC Information Security and Privacy in Healthcare Organization KaTina Chase March 8, 2016 The waterfall model for the SDLC (systems development life cycle) is comprised of six general phases. You are working on creating a new pharmacy information system and you and your team have just completed the physical design phase. In a 1 to 2 page paper, using APA style formatting, discuss what the next steps would be to move the system to the implementation phase. Assuming you are working in a healthcare organization, what obstacles do you anticipate facing in the implementation phase and how would you address these. This paper is an exploratory/opinion based paper and as such, the use of first person will be accepted.

The SDLC is comprised of several phases. The design phase is where decisions are made regarding how the system will operate. The implementation phase is the final phase in the SDLC, during this phase the system is actually built. This phase normally gets the most attention.
