A form may include some areas where additional data are to be filled in; typically based on on e database record, and a report is only used for reading or viewing; typically contains data from many unrelated records or transactions. Examples of business forms are product order forms, employment applications, and class registration sheets. Examples of reports are in-voices, weekly sales summaries by region and salesperson, and a pie chart of population by age cate-gories. Today, video display technology allows us to duplicate the layout of almost any printed form, including an organizational logo or any graphic, on a video display terminal.
