In the United States, sports are widely recognized as a tool of child development and health promotion. Sports are an essential component in academics, physical and mental health, motivation, and social development. If schools cut budgets on sports it would cause chaos and imbalance in the development of kids and take a huge toll on academics altogether. Physical activity helps build and maintain healthy bones, muscles, and joints; helping control weight and reduce fat; and preventing or delaying the development of high blood pressure. The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
