Hello, Unemployment affects economy and business both in many different ways. With the current unemployment rate very high at the moment due to the recession in economy, businesses suffer when hiring new employees. Businesses suffer because there are times where full time employees are not being hired and the positions remain open due to lack of potential workers. Reviewing the different types of unemployment categories such as frictional unemployment, structural unemployment, real wage or classical unemployment, seasonal unemployment, and finally cyclical unemployment, has revealed there are many conditions of unemployment can harm the production of a business. Let’s review only three types for now. Frictional unemployment, When a person is recently released from one job and is seeking another immediately following the previous job (Economywatch, 2010). During the frictional unemployment there needs to be a stage where an employee is seeking jobs and not picked up immediately. Depending on the economy and the status of a business many frictional periods are very short before
