Lesson 3 Lesson 3 taught me how to create symbols, convert images to symbols, and how to edit symbols. There are a few different types of symbols that can be created in flash. These consist of Movie Clip Symbols, Button Symbols and Graphic Symbols. To create a symbol you can select the insert tab and click New Symbol. If you want to convert an image to a symbol, select the image, click the modify tab and select convert to symbol, or you can use the F8 shortcut key. Next, I learned about blending and color properties that affect the symbols that are selected. I blended a few images to pop a bit more on the graphic. The color properties allowed me to change colors of layers that I wanted to change rather than the entire image. Finally, I learned to transform, move using rulers for alignment and how to neat up my library. Using transform I changed the size and which way an image was facing by using the free transform tool. While viewing the rulers this also help me align the symbols where I wanted
