Situation 1 – Online Banking System Information Affected Potential Harm (Risk) Likely Finding in Risk Analysis Report Customer Details Illegal access Terminal illegal access to client account information as well as balances, shares, etc. Illegal Modification to client information Unauthorized users making modifications on account details for personal or destructive use. Copying of client information Illegally copying account information for personal and/or destructive purposes. Transaction Details Hacking Illegal access to account. Tapping Illegally accessing account and using for personal gain, including theft.

Account Details Mistakes and omission Mistakes and omissions made by staff intentionally or unintentionally Hacking Unauthorized access and modification of account information by an outside source. Illegal access Getting account security details such as passwords, PIN numbers, etc. for own personal gain. Situation 2 – Facebook Page (organization or personal – specify which) Information Affected Potential Harm (Risk) Likely Finding in Risk Analysis Report Status Updates (organizations) Unauthorized use Outside users updating status of company fraudulently. Improper status updating Updating status about company changes, asset information, or fraudulently changing position status. Bad Publicity Staff updating status of company that could potentially damage company assets and operations. Account Information (personal) Unauthorized modification to account information Account information accessed and modified by unauthorized users. Incorrect account details Providing incorrect details on account intentionally or unintentionally such as name, age, gender, etc. Fraudulent Imitation of account details Claiming to be someone, or a company that the user is actually not.
