Top Threats Area of System Threats Potential Vulnerability Client Authentication Unauthorized individual or individuals may attempt to access the system. Intruder may attempt to access the client’s rewards account. Kudler Fine Foods Employee Authentication Unauthorized individual or individuals may attempt to obtain access to the System. Account information may be loss, edited or stolen by an unauthorized individual internal or externally from Kudler Fine Foods. The information may be altered to increase or decrease the reward points, which can impact deserving or undeserving clients. UAC (User Access Controls) Without UAC there will be no capability to allow/restrict who accesses the system. Currently there are no protocols set in place to provide user access controls for verification or validation purposes. (Access control is a security technique that can be utilized to regulate who or what can view or use resources in the rewards program). DAC (Data Access Controls) Without data access controls set in place the data may be accessible to unauthorized individuals. Without DAC the database, which is SQL based will not have data permission information in each table, column, and row. Contains information on security access and roles matrix roles and their privileges to tables and columns of data. Maintains lists of campus users belonging to these roles. VPN Access VPN or remote access capability can allow unauthorized access to the system, and network.
