Drivas Lia Drivas HUM3321 Megan Leverage April 17, 2016 Katniss Everdeen has quickly become a female hero. Large factors played in the role of  her winning The Hunger Games. Her role of a provider helped not only herself persevere to win  but help her family. she not only had the skill to thrive in the wild; but she knew she had to  return to district twelve and protect her sister Primrose and their mom. With female warriors  coming into Hollywood more often the way of intense masculinity is used to determine how  much of a warrior is. The Hunger Games works to show stereotypical “male” traits and being the hunter.” With the death of their father, Katniss knew right away that she had to step in at the age  of twelve to take his place in the family. his teachings of hunting, gave her the ability to use this  skill to use in The Hunger Games. She was the provider, care taker, and essentially the core of
