Phil101 IP Unit1 In article one the problem of the story is bribery. A man named Gagan saw himself bribing to start his business. To get anything set up for the business without getting into too much hassles you should need money to bribe other people to get everything done smoothly. Gagan said he bribed around “10-15 people”. There is a debate to if bribery is good for the economy. It turns out it can be good because it can let people go through the steps of opening a business faster causing a economy growth. So according to this article the big problem in India is bribery. Bribes are used to get things done whether it is government work or doing something against the law. These bribery system is great for the people who have the money but for normal citizens they would have to work harder to get their work done. The second article is set in Mexico. It explains how “mordida is the way of life” over there.
