Marketers are the idea machines that drive sales and attract new customers . What I learned in school is that the field of marketing is moving towards a more of an analytical side , which I personally find boring but I know other marketing classmates of mine found fun. So today it seems that there are two types of marketers--those more on the marketing research and numbers side, and those with a creative flare . You could try to market to both those demographics.
