Professor Woody Odil Education 1010 31 January 2016 INTASC Standard Assignment 3:9 I was most drawn to the goal, “to promote high levels of literacy for all by improving reading instruction, disseminating research and information about reading, and encouraging the life time reading habit,” (442). This interests me the most because I have found that I can learn anything by reading, even complex emotions that would have remained foreign to me without the aid of a text. It allows you to take on other identities, and to experience a different world or life. Reading can also be given at face value to teach us a concept, like our text books are focused on. When I need to do something myself around the home I read a Google article and figure it out. Everyone should read, and hopefully enjoy it! I ventured to which redirected me to my.literacryworldwide.org. Here I was able to find a few different types of memberships to choose from. The memberships available are as follows: Option 1, Basic Membership, $45. Option 2, Online Membership, $35.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
