Human Resources and Change Rancho Solano Case The Rancho Solano case is a big part of Arizona privet school history. Rancho Solano school was a privet school that was founded in 1954 and the family founders set certain standards for the teachers, students as well as the board members (Williams, 2015). At first this privet school gain a high reputation where parents wanted their child to attend. When the founding family decided to sell the school to the Meritas International Family the schools reputation started to dwindle until everyone started to dislike the school because the school closed on short notice leaving everyone including employees no place to go. There were many missed opportunities by management to make everything right with everyone involved in the school, and this paper will speak about how the human resource department could have handled the situation differently within the organizational system of the school (Creno, 2014). The H.R. department could have come up with ideas on how to handle the situation appropriately so everyone could have keep their dignity. There are rules and regulations that all school must follow, but privet school have a little more leeway than public school. All schools should have some type of H.R. department where they hire the people needed for all of the job within the business. It is the responsibility of the H.R. department to pick the best qualified, and person who would fit into the company to help it grow. Organizational systems inside a business refers to: people, processes, informal and formal rules. One of the major organizational subsystems inside of the Meritas schools that should have been changed was a supportive subsystem. A supportive subsystem is where the company would have included everyone when the time can to close the school. The management or leaders of the 2
