[1] Non-Destructive Inspection (NDT) is often required to verify the quality of a product or a system. Some examples of NDT are Acoustic Emission Testing, Electromagnetic Testing, Ultrasonic Testing, and Visual Testing. [2] These techniques are highly valuable that can save both money and time in product evaluation, troubleshooting, and research. Recent research and developments in the sensors of and the associated data analysis software of NDT tools have enhanced their usefulness. These NDT tools are effective in characterization of materials, detection of wear, assessment of interventions, and evaluation of compatible materials and processes.
