Communication and Soft Skills Professor: Dale Baker Assignment 2 Challenges faced while working with a virtual team First off and foremost the most significant challenge is the fact that the team members are in 3 different time zones and will not be in a close quarters office talking directly or face to face with each other. When building a team for whatever the circumstances may be it is difficult to be highly proactive and on the same page in the project if all persons attached to the project are in different time zones and not directly around each other. Having most of the team away from each other creates several different ideas at different times making it hard for the team to narrow all their opinions, thoughts and facts at one time to get everyone on the same page having a common answer for the team. This in fact will make it harder for Songsri Singh to narrow down the ideas and push the team forward on the project. The negative impact if not handled accordingly would in turn significantly increase the time for the team to come to a final solution and most importantly delay the final product to present to both Firms needed to make transactions easier with less margin for error. Songsri will have to give everyone their own task and have them ready to brief what he or she has done each day. She will also have to find the right time to either do a tele/video conference at a time all the members will be available. By doing so this
