Discussion 1 After watching this short clip, Without Sanctuary, has made me really think about life back then and why people acted the way they did towards someone for looking different. Caucasians seemed to glorify what they did to the African Americans during this time. I could tell that the Caucasians observing and taking part in the lynching had no regard or Feelings For the lives they had taken. You have to be a very ill individual to physically do harm to another human being let alone lynch and burn them. It saddens me to know that a lot oF these AFrican Americans were being stripped oF their rights emoTonally and physically....
