(10 points) (a) (f) (s) These pages are specially—formatted which makes it possible for them to be scanned and handled electronically, which is a very important labor—savings. The black dots at the top and around the bubbles are used to scan your pages. Between the black dots at the top is a serial number uniquely identifying each page. If you write anything Within 1 centimeter of the dots or the serial numbers or otherwise render these pages un—scannable then you will be penalized. 3 write: fundersmnd' The bubbles on the front page are for you to bubble—in your N etID, which is the log in name you use for your email and for eLeorning and consists of letters and numbers. You also have a StudentID, which is only numbers and you will never be asked for your StudentID in this class. A very common error is to provide your StudentID instead of NstID on the bubble page. If you don’t properly fill in the bubbles with your cerrect NetID then you will be penalized. M W Write: I understand. When you bubble your thID on the first page, you must completely fill the appropriate bubbles with a dark color. If you do otherwise tvt may not scan and you will be penalized. Write: I understand. Only these specially-formatted pages will be graded. Pages other than these will be discarded. For example, you may not submit extra sheets — rather, you must submit your answer in the space provided. Write: I understand. J 2 g f’ If you miss picking up pages from lecture then you must pick up pages from your instructor at their office. In particular, it is forbidden for a student to photocopy another student’s pages and both submit their pages. The reason is because every page has a unique serial number on it. So if a student photocopies another student’s pages and both submit their pages then there are multiple submitted pages with the same serial numbers on them — a situation which must be manually corrected, negating the labor-savings the unique serial numbers are designed to provide. In such an instance both students will be penalized. Feel free to photocopy your pages for your own records. Write: I understand. The color red will be used to grade your pages and students are forbidden from submitting 'work in red. Your answers are expected to be neatly written — failure to do so will result in a zero. It is recommendeded that you solve your exercises on separate sheets and then neatly copy your answer into the space provided. Write: I understand. k/j You must turn in your pages at the beginning of lecture on the due date. Turning in your pages at any other time or place, including early and / or in the wrong stack, will be penalized. If a situation arises where you must deviate from this policy then you must bring the matter to your instructor’s attention as soon as possible and arrangements will be made [at the instructor’s discretion and in accordance with university policy). As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
