Describe the characteristics required of 802.15.3 applications. The IEEE has their IEEE 802.15 standards, and as of topic 1, we discussed standard 1 and 4. Standard 3 (IEEE 802.15.3) is for High-Rate WPAN Standards. “IEEE 802.15.3c is the only standard defined in the WirelessHD specification. It is an extremely complex standard that could justify an entire textbook on its own.” (Olenewa, 2013, pg. 217). “As you know, the PHY layer is responsible for converting data bits into the modulated RF signal that is transmitted over electromagnetic waves.” (Olenewa, 2013, pg. 217).Olenewa, 2013, lists some of the characteristics of this standard: passive scanning, channel energy detection, ability to request channel quality information, link quality and received signal strength indication, transmit power control, neighbor and child piconet capability, two modes of superframe transmission, and maximum data frame length of 8,388,608 ocets. “HR WPANs are technologies

If devices have bluetooh enable, if they are in range you are able to potenTally connect to that device. Of course, you would need to conFrm it on the device, so you’re not actually to connect to every device without some security feature. “Mesh networking can enable WPANs to cover an enTre building.” (Olenewa, 2013, pg. 219). As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
