Part I: A Closer Look at the Evidence 1. Describe the graph on this page. What does it show us about the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere? The graph on the page is the comparison of atmospheric samples contained in ice cores and more recent direct measurements, provides evidence that atmospheric CO2 has increased since the Industrial Revolution. Over the last several hundred thousand years the CO2 levels stayed within the 170-300 parts per million ranges. After 1950 the CO2 levels have reached upward of 400 parts per million which is higher than any other timeframe. 2. The facts about climate change are grouped into different categories on this page. How are these groups labeled? What is considered “not in dispute”? According to the provided website the facts are grouped into five different groups; Evidence, Cause, Effects, Consensus, and Vital Signs. When it comes to the human civilization we are considered to be the cause of the climate change.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
