Organizational Communication: How to Effectively Communicate Abstract To communicate clearly and effectively are necessary skills within the characteristic of every successful manager. By sending messages to employees, managers can effectively communicate with information that is understood. Both written communication and oral communication are crucial to managers and employees. The voice quality of a communicator is the key to being an effective communicator. The voice quality includes the volume and the pitch of the voice coming out from the speaker. A company will be successful if manager and employees can communicate effectively. If the manager and employees in the company fail to communicate effectively, there is a very slim chance of being successful. To become better at communicating, companies should provide communication trainings prior to each job offer. Introduction Today, people can characterize our modern period as the informative age. In everyday practice, we listen, analyze information, and communicate. Effective communication is essential in improving relationships at work, home, and in social situations. Without the skills of communicating effectively, business leaders cannot maintain a creative, caring, and problem solving environment for their company. It is said that, “ as simple as communication seems, much of what we try to communicate to others—and what others try to communicate to us—gets misunderstood, which can cause conflict and frustration in personal and professional relationships”(Baldea, 1, 2014).

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
