BU1110: Project Part 2 Task 4 - 6 As I keep diving into the “World of Google” I continue to learn that where a company started inside a dorm room as a research project at Stanford University has moved itself into almost every market there is in the world. Slowly and progressively they have moved into a market, started creating competition for others, then as they become dominant within that category they will move into another market. I won’t go as far as to say Google will own the world but to say they may control the “know” world (i.e. knowledge). I think Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin are smart when it comes to this philosophy and there are always those who say, “Don’t fix something that isn’t broken” but with Google they just keep improving. With almost all large companies, including large multinational corporations, normally have a Union or something like it. Well I’m here to say that Google is in no way shape or form have a Union. Google has such a laid back atmosphere mixed with electric creationism that all the employees for Google feel they are either given great care as a Google employee or they feel their in control of their destiny at Google.
