Jonathon Myhre 10/18/14 Global Marketing Week 5.1 Analysis One thing I buy on a very constant basis is Red Bull. I always have the 24 packs from Sam’s in my fridge at all times. One reason for them is that I am a student in school and I’m working two jobs. Working long hours and I still have to do homework. Working long hours (between 12 to 15 hour days) as it is makes me tired and want to go to bed as soon as I get home yet as mentioned already I have homework to do so I’ll stay up another couple hours to do the homework. Lets do the math, 24 hours in a day. 15 hours of it are spent with me working my two jobs, which leaves us with 9 hours left. Another 2 hours on homework and I have 7 hours. Throw in trying to make something to eat, shower & relax with my girlfriend and there is less than 5 hours to sleep. And believe me when I say

So anyways I first heard about the product when I was a senior in high school, great to mix with alcoholic drinks. The company has TV advertising, internet marketing, newspaper ads, etc. but the best advertising they have is word of mouth. People always share with friends. The techniques have stayed the same since I started drinking them. Although recently I heard someone sued Red Bull for their advertisement in saying that the drinks didn’t actually give them wings and they won. Now come on, it takes common sense to know that an energy drink isn’t going to give you actual wings. They just wanted the attention....
