1. Despite many attempts, Monsanto has not been able to maintain an ethical culture that effectively responds to its stakeholders. They have attempted many times and they still fail to create the ethical culture. Monsanto has been in business for a long time. The first unethical product dates back to the 1970’s. That is when the chemical Agent Orange was produced by Monsanto. Agent Orange was used during the Vietnam War to quickly deforest thick forests. This chemical contained dioxin, which has been found to be carcinogenic. Since the 70’s there have been several other unethical products and issues. These issues range from disposing toxic waste directly into a stream in Alabama to organizational ethical issues. The organizational ethical issues include bribery issues in Indonesia and legal issues including anticompetitive activities. Monsanto is still thriving to achieve and maintain an ethical culture. In order to achieve this I believe that a more ethical product needs to be considered.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
