Page 1 Art 140 Project Requirements - Flip Flop Dev/Design Flip Flop Total Points: 80 Project Phases: • Sketches (10) • Wire frame (15) • Comprehensive (15) • Design critique (10) • Development (20) • Dev critique (10) Software Required : Photoshop/Brackets Overview For project 3 (Developer/Designer Flip Flop), students will be expected to hand off and coordinate execution of their designs with their class mates. In the professional world, often times designers are not the ones actually executing the development of the web sites. This exercise demonstrates the normal project flow that is in place today in many agencies and communications shops. Project 3 will follow the design process (sketch, wire frame, comp) from start to finish ending with web page development using CSS and HTML. Flip Flop is focused on a small scale web site (4 recommended pages - index, about, gallery, contact) and all of the CSS and image assets that coincide these pages. Sketches Students will be asked to sketch out visually appealing interfaces for both mobile and desktop with usability in mind on the topic of their famous graphic designer research from Graphic Design II class. Students will be expected to come up with no less than 8 sketches for their famous graphic designer web site. Four sketches for mobile user interfaces and four for the desktop UI. Sketches should include layout areas for the site logo, site graphics, copy, as well as a navigation area, banner area, side bar, content area and footer area as needed. Successful students will also mimic and tie in elements and visual styles from their famous artists into their sketches, wire frames and comp.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
