Brian Bordelon Ms. Turner English III Rough Draft 25 February 2016 Insanity When someone goes on some type of shoplifting spree, and get caught and then they do it again they are insane. Insanity is something very strange and is something that can be seen as mysterious. But, the mystery behind insanity is not the particulars of what it is, but what someone must do in order to become insane. What someone can see insanity as is: to behave in a way that would cause you to no longer be accepted in a community; when you become a danger to yourself and/or to others; or the literal definition of it "the state of being seriously mentally ill; madness". Insanity is not when someone does something crazy once and never again. So what is insanity? The word “Sane” (which is the root word for insanity) comes from the word in Latin which is “sanus”. Sanus means healthy so the word insane would literally mean unhealthy. With that being said that does not specifically mean that your brain is
