Thesis: Plagiarism is not that serious of a thing, someone should not be punished because of plagiarism or that for “stealing” someone else’s words. Introduction (This entire Roman numeral I is only one paragraph) A. Hook: People are punished in various way all the time because up plagiarism, but is it really necessary? Is plagiarism actually a bad thing? B. Introduce the topic: Is Plagiarism bad? The battle over to plagiarize or not to plagiarize continues daily. Some people think that is it not bad at all, and others think that it is a terrible thing. How can someone steal an idea or words? Are words and ideas not there for everyone to use? C. Thesis: Considering the above, plagiarism is not that serious of an offence and people should not worry about it. II. Body A. First Paragraph i. Topic sentence: Plagiarism is not stealing, the words still belong to the author, so how can someone steal them? ii.
