Cou 6380: Diagnosis & Treatment CONFERENCE #2 SUMMARY I have learned the mind can exhibit a world of good and bad. People can sometime imagine that their mind gives the illusion that they have no control of their lives. Everyone must have an understanding of life weather sane or insane. People in general must learn to connect their body and spiritual mind to understand their conscious. By doing this the individuals don’t allow their though to overcrowd their conscious as to become delusional about the ordinary. In reviewing the two videos I found many of the components mention are there to help individuals with their Schizophrenia disorders. Many people with schizophrenia experience hearing voices or auditory hallucinations as psychiatrists call them. Voices can be highly stressful, especially if they involve threats or abuse, or if they are loud and incessant. You must be aware of the signs and symptoms and acknowledge when help or assistance is needed. Q1. Identify the 8 separate mental disorders that make up the Schizophrenia & Other Psychotic Disorders category of DSM-V & list 2 diagnostic criteria of each. Schizophreniform disorder: is a type of "psychosis" in which a person cannot tell what is real from what is imagined. Catatonia schizophrenia : is a type of schizophrenia that includes extremes of behavior . Schizotypal personality disorder: is a mental disorder characterized by a need for social isolation, anxiety in social situations, thinking, and often unconventional beliefs.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
