Miranda Levo 7/2/15 05.03 The Power of Language - “One Today” 1.) “One light, waking up rooftops, under each one, a story, told by our silent  actions  moving across the windows.” I changed the word gestures to actions because of the saying “Actions speak  louder than words”. I wanted the sentence to covey that message because the actions  are what really tell the story, not the words.  2.) “Silver trucks heaving with oil or paper- bricks or milk,  swarming  over highways  alongside us…” I changed the word teeming to swarming because the word swarm instantly  brings my mind to a large mass of bees flying around in a pack. The word swarming  helps me visualize just how many silver trucks are covering this highway on a regular  business day. 3.) “The dust of farms and deserts, cities and plains  merged  by one wind-our breath.”

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
