Gas Constant Lab Procedure 1. Obtain a 100mL graduated cylinder, a 150mL beaker, a 250mL beaker, a 1000mL beaker, forceps, a large test tube, and a 10mL graduated cylinder 2. Put 50mL of r.o. water in the 100mL graduated cylinder 3. Fill the graduated cylinder half full and then use the repipet to dispense 10mL of 6M HCl 4. Position the 100mL graduated cylinder so that the plastic spout of the repipet is in the top of it and lift the white top piece of the repipet until it hits the preset stop 5. Press the white top piece of the repipet down to complete dispensing the 6M HCl into your graduated cylinder 6. Pour it back and forth between the 100mL graduated cylinder and a 150 mL beaker to mix. The 1 M HCl solution shall be used as the reaction solution later. 7. Pour 10 mL of the 1 M HCL solution back into the 100mL graduated cylinder. 8. Fill the graduated cylinder to the 100 mL mark with r.o. water to make the .1 M HCl 9. Pour the 0.1 M HCl into a 250 mL beaker 10.
