This could go both ways. Based on the information that was given in this story it does not tell of any problems with this DDT, however, it does not say any testing was done. Although it was being used by the U.S. Army and Department of Agriculture and I would think that they would have tested it. I would assume that if they were using it, it would be okay for others as well. I would not say that this was unethical or ethical either way. 2. Yes, the EPA banned the product because they had found it to be harmful to people and/or the environment. 5. I would say no. At the ±me that he received the Nobel Prize, it was not known to be harmful to anything and was a great inven±on. Some±mes it falls short in some ways if things are not tested correctly. 6. Based on the numbers of lives saved, I think the environment could be overlooked. It is been banned and the numbers have been good since this product. I believe the risk to the environment was worth it....
