Is College a Requirement for Success? As the cost of college skyrockets, many people are questioning if it is worthwhile to attend a college because many jobs do not require a college education. Other people hold the view that they need to go to college as they not only can gain a lot of skills but also can have a better opportunity to get a well-paying job in the future even though they will have a huge student debt. So is college a requirement for success? I personally strongly believe that college is a requirement for success, and it is far more worthwhile to enter a college because college benefits us not only from the academic aspect but also some other perspectives, like, higher income, personal growth, and social ability. In the article, “Is College Worth It?”, the author states, “College graduates aged 25 to 32 who are working full time earn about $ 17,500 more annually than their peers who have only a high school diploma.” This means education is always the best investment because people with college education earn more money than the people who do not have a college degree. College degree offers them better chance to have a good job in the future. With a college degree, people have more options choosing their jobs, but without it, they have narrow options and it will be more difficult to get a job with high salary. By entering college, they
