Objectives:- The main purpose of studying the sheet metal is to know the performance or response of sheet metals during bending and shearing processes and the effect of their parameters on both processes. We also need to know how to use machines in the right way so that pieces will be made in a safe shape and a nice look. Materials:- - Sheet Metal pieces (steel Specimens) - Proper Bend angle (Bending machine) - Cutting machine - Ruler, Pencil and a piece of Paper (for drawing the shaped parts) Procedure:- 1- Get one of the sheet metal pieces and place it on the Proper Bend angle 2- Set Clearance to (0) and take measurements for 3 pieces with angles 45, 90, and 110 respectively 3- Repeat the trials for clearance (+2) and (-1) again. 4- Draw each part on a piece of paper. 5- Draw a tangent circle and calculate the αf and Rf and fill the table Calculation:-

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
