Running head: EVIDENCE-BASED PRACTICE 1 Evidence-Based Practice Chamberlaine College of Nursing Week 4 TD1 Dr Fillman and class Evidence based practice (EBP) is a constant drive to search for new ways of doing same thing but with better outcomes. Providing the best quality nursing care backed by research, clinical experts and meeting patient’s expectations. I work for an organization which supports APN program which encourages changes for better outcomes. Advanced practice nurses (APNs) are the ones who introduce the ever-evolving EBP among direct patient care or frontline nurses (FLNs). Organisational commitment, individual and interpersonal factors are the three major components that work together for application of EBP(Gerrish et al., 2012). Health care has changed from value to volume based. It is important to apply evidence EBP in our daily work routine to improve the patient outcome, give standard care and be cost- effective. Identify, review, research, recommending new ideas and evaluating the results of those implementations is EBP (Spruce, L. 2015).

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
