What are the differences among these three threats: a virus, a worm, and spyware? They all disrupt normal operations, are used to steal data, or gain access to network resources. The difference is their method of attacking a system: a virus infects another program, a worm is a program itself, spyware could be a trojan horse disguised as another program, and malicious code can modify a program. 2. How often should you update your antivirus protection? At least once a week. 3. Why is it a best practice to have and to carry an antivirus boot-up disk or CD? In the event of the infected computer operating system not because of a virus, the antivirus agent attempt to fix it. 4. In a corporate environment, should new antivirus definitions be installed as soon as they are available?
