Dasine Evans Reflective essay Dr. Randall Kennedy February 18, 2016 Holmes-Rahe life stress inventory results My score came out as 100 due to a lot of the situations were toward marriage and kids and I am nowhere near any of those problems. I believe lately most of my stress comes from transfer from regular college to online college and having to move back in with my mom. With me being older and more enlighten on things it’s actually harder to live back at home then I thought. Ever since I moved back my sleeping schedule is everywhere I believe is because I don’t think I will ever be used to being a dependent again. Finishing school is my main priority and that can be real stressful when you don’t want people to see you fail and you try to push as hard as possible. My current stress situation is not as bad anymore because I learned to stop stressing over uncontrollable things in life, I believe when you about to have a breakthrough a lot of time it

Now I tell stress that it cannot take over my life anymore, things happen and like I always said certain periods in life are only temporary and by believing that I see the end of the road and that is my goal to push on no matter how many bumps and flat tires I go through nothing is going to stop me from getting to the end of that road. I do believe that you can choose how you take on task or handle bad situations. If stress does get to the point that I feel overwhelmed I honestly have to say that I pray and handle the situation the best way I can. I will have to remember that if I can’t control it there is no reason to dwell on it. If it is controllable then I will take action and try relieve that situation from effecting me in a negative way that can harm my mental health or my actual health....
