each cone different colors and renamed them to make it easier to work with and so I don’t get confused between the two cones. I then created a code that made the skater go around the black cone. This code included the skate method and then turn left but made it so it was seen by the cone. In order to make the skater’s function and skating look normal I made it orient to the blue cone as the skater finished the turn around the black cone. This made the turn look more natural and smooth. This also made the next code easier because I just had to make the skater go straight toward the blue cone. I used the function distance to the left of and made it to the blue cone. This made it easy to make the next turn around the blue cone and look a lot more natural.

Unformatted text preview: Now to finish the other half of the figure eight I’ll just do what I did in the beginning but just the opposite. This means make the skater skate around the blue cone by turning right. Once the skater was done going around the cone I made the skater orient to the black cone to make the turn look natural and not like a robot. Then I made the skater Move toward the black cone but I used the function to make it stay to the right of the cone. This assignment was definitely a lot more difficult because I had no step by step help and had to write the code myself. This meant that I had to draw up a plan to make this work and then create the code. Once I created the code I had to test it to make sure it worked how I wanted it too. If I didn’t get it to work how I wanted it too I would just play around with the code to make it work correctly. I struggled at first but after some playing around with functions I finally got a finished product....
