Detecting Media Bias 4 Detecting Media Bias Alan Barros HUM/111 January 12, 2014 A.R. Fiano The story I have chosen for this week’s assignment is about the security breach that has compromised up to 110 million customers’ credit cards and other sensitive information. The news article talks about how Target will be negatively affected as a result of the breach. The article also details how some customers are reacting to the news of their information becoming exposed to hackers. The reporting of the news story does a very good job providing clear and accurate information, but fails to include additional details about the situation. The facts that have been reported are one-sided, in favor of the consumer. The story lacks important details regarding the measures Target is taking to ensure their customers will not be liable for any fraudulent damage. The story mentions in detail about the information that has been compromised. However, the article fails to mention the improvement of security that has been implemented in order to prevent future attacks.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
