Problem solving Problem Solving Process Alan Barros HUM/111 January 25, 2014 A.R. Fiano The Problem A problem that is currently affecting my life is that three out of my twelve co-workers are known to have poor working habits. For instance, as a telecommunication technician, each individual is expected to accomplish an average of four assignments a day. An eight hour work day is enough time to accomplish the four assignments, as long as everyone one on the team finishes his or her assigned tasks. However, there are three on the team that constantly does not finish the four assigned task. The average for those three workers is one task a day, which forces everyone else to pick up the slack as there is one extra assignment for the other individuals on the team. The Issue The issue is that the manager treats everything that happens as a team effort. The manager does not address the individuals separately, however, he addresses the entire team as having poor work ethics. As a result of the bad work ethics of the three individuals, the manager 1
