Fiano The article that I have decided to write about is called Cancer Prevention , written by Marion Bragdon and Sally Scroggs. The article talks about how food is necessary for nourishment, but also analyzes food as a culprit for causing cancer. Addressing the Topic Strategies for applying creativity to problems and issues that could be used in addressing this topic would be taking a novel approach, devising or modifying a process or system, and improving things (Ruggiero, 2012). Which foods are most common to increase cancer risk? How can individuals change their eating habits? Finding answers to these questions would allow individuals to analyze how certain foods are increasing the risk of cancer. For instance, after investigating the problem, it could be discovered that herbicide and pesticide used by farmers are cancer-causing agents. This 1

Creative Thinking information could be used to find solutions to our problem. A solution or a novel approach would be to present such findings regarding food safety to our local government and farmers. This
