“Victims of downsizing are not those employees who were let go. Rather, the victims are the ones who have kept their jobs.” Do you agree or disagree with this statement? Defend your position. I disagree with the statement. I believe the victims of downsizing are the employees that were let go rather than the employees that kept their jobs. Although I can see how the other argument can be made, I do not agree with it. The employees that kept their jobs will definitely gain more job responsibilities and probably have to work harder, longer hours.
