MGT2320 Online – Assignment 2 Q1. A) Process Focus : operating many activities with low amount of utilities. Repetitive Focus : using processed products to assemble goods, food or machinery and etc. Product Focus : continuously producing big amounts of mostly the same products. Mass Customization : quickly producing big amounts of goods based on customers’ desires. B) Process Focus : Convenience stores usually have one or a few people working at the register but they serve a lot of people and do a lot of tasks. Repetitive focus : at a shipyard, processed pieces of metal or wood are put together to make a ship/ Product Focus : a shoe factory produces same shoes in high volumes. Mass Customization : TV’s are now produced how the customers want. Led TV’s are now cheaper than before and there are many options for customers to choose. Q2.
