Media Violence 2 The safety of our youth is diminishing daily. They are exposed to so much daily throughout school, their home life and what they see their friends doing. With that being said, media violence is something that is becoming all too common throughout the United States. A child cannot does not have the mental capacity to separate real life from fantasy and the ones they look up to take advantage of this. Media Violence can effect a child’s mental state, and life choices whether it be by playing video games, watching TV shows, and even news stations. Video games are rated for each age group, deemed appropriate. Many parents avoid this and just buy whatever game their child is screaming or begging for. If it gets the child out of their view, then that’s all they care about. Many of these games involve guns, shootings, prostitution, or just your regular racing games. Kids see these shootings that they are doing in the game so it
