Kristin Taylor April 15 th , 2015 Bengal Tiger: An Important Animal of Life Have you ever wondered why there are so many tigers in danger today? Mostly, there is only one that I am going to be presenting today and it is called the Bengal Tiger and mainly what the issue is it’s a endangered species and they are mostly losing their habitats or anything else in this situation right now. However, there are tigers that suffer from a severe loss of natural prey like deer and antelopes. There are many prey numbers that decline because of direct poaching for meat and trade and there and also have competition with livestock over food and habitat degradation because of excessive wood removal for fires as well. According to Adams (2007),“There are all kinds of tigers out there in danger that they need to have a better habitat and living style and not have to suffer everyday” (p.113). Tigers are the largest species in the cat family and they are usually solitary animals and will usually hunt at night too. The biggest situation is that these tigers are in danger and need to have more food to eat and more water. According to Burke (2012) “Today it is modified that there are less than 6,000 Bengal tigers that is a part of the world population today” (p.201). On the contrary, as there are tigers that continue to lose their habitat and prey species, they are increasingly coming into conflict with humans as they attack domestic animals and sometimes humans. Mostly, in retaliation there are all kinds of Bengals a type of tiger that are killed by angry people from the village and that is not right whatsoever. Also, these animals are often sick and unable to hunt normally, or live in an area where their traditional prey was vanished as well.

For example, they roam a wide range of habitats including high altitudes, tropical and subtropical rainforests, mangroves, and grasslands. They are primarily found in parts of India, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, and Myanmar. Mostly, today habitat and poaching are the key threats to the survival of the Bengal Tiger. These types of tigers losing their habitat is wrong and something must be done about it is not right for these

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
