MODULE FOUR 1 Question one. The Strengths of an organization are the unique selling propositions available in an organization, the advantages that an organization have over others, what an organization can do better than all the others, what people in the market see in the team as exceptional and the lowest –cost resources that an organization can draw while other organizations cannot. The firm's weaknesses, on the other hand, includes: what the organization needs to improve and avoid, the factors that result in losses and finally what people in the market are likely to consider as the organization’s shortfalls (Doeringer, P. B., & Piore, M. J. 1985). According to Swayne, L. E., Duncan, W. J., & Ginter, P. M. (2012), the weaknesses and strengths can be used to gain both the cost advantage and differentiation advantage. Weaknesses can be used by an organization to create a competitive advantage for example; an organization can use few available resources to produce the same value of products to the consumer.
