3.04 Perception Directions: Complete the tasks below. Replace the highlighted text with your own answers. Save the file and upload it to 3.04 assessment Part 1 1. Choose an appropriate painting by a notable artist representing at least three uses of monocular cues. 2. In a structured paragraph describe how the artist uses the specific monocular cues to represent depth in the painting. This painting by Salvador Dali has interposition, relative size, and relative brightness. The painting shows relative size by painting the cliff smaller than the objects in the foreground like the melting clocks and tree trunk. The interposition allows the viewer to know the tree branch with the melting clock is closer than the eye on the floor. Relative brightness is shown with the sun setting on the cliff and the objects close to the cliff such as the ocean is realtivily brighter than the other objects. 3. Properly cite your reference painting with artist's name, title of the painting, year of painting's creation, and retrieval

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
