There are many things that have been identified that have an adverse effect on a network and its performance. Some of these are caused by the environments in which we choose to establish a network, such as a storm, wind speeds and even things such as pollution can have an effect on certain types of networks, especially one that uses microwave or satellite. Besides the causes that we have no control over, things like the type of cable used can affect a networks efficiency. If the cable used is not rated for the speeds that you are trying to operate at, then you will not get hose speeds (Lesson 8: Network Management).

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
