Daniel Ellis Cascade Seating April 20 th , 2016 1. Executive Summary Cascade Seating Inc. is a large manufacturing company that makes automobile seat covers. We got a call from GM saying that we have been downgraded to a secondary supplier due to issues with the quality that we send in. We want to be the top suppliers again so we figured that we would meet up with the managers in quality control, purchasing, customer service, and inventory control to fix this issues. We looked at things such as employee training, machining issues, sewing and cutting issues as well. We also looked at what the managers are doing on a daily basis dealing with quality control. We are hoping that we get these issues resolved to become top supplier again. We have a lot more internal and external cost going on and want to lower that. We will focus our quality costs on prevention and assessment part of quality control to have better products as well as serve customers in better ways as well. I hope this summary help show you what we are doing to solve are quality control issues we are currently having.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
