The uprising became known as the Soweto uprising and feed the bullets that killed apartheid in South Africa in 1991. The Soweto uprising was a trying ±me for the apartheid, as the rio±ng con±nued strong the founda±on of the apartheid started to break down. The government reached a point where they could no longer hold the violent crowds and they were forced to make a decision to compromise Fnding new ways to dissuade the enraged crowds they invoked. Ul±mately, the government was s±ll excluding blacks from posi±ons of power and in³uence. On June 17, 1991 South Africa’s Parliament repealed apartheid with a vote, the decision broke down the legal framework of apartheid and Mandela won the Presiden±al elec±on just three short years later in 1994....
