Definition of Quality Deming : Deals with a predictable uniformity of product Led to development and use of various statistical techniques like six sigma and control chart Definition of quality does not emphasize the customer Crosby : Quality as conformance to requirements (based on customer needs) Zero defects (requirement should be met every time) Juran: fitness of a product for its intended use All definition relates to meeting the need of customer
