There are several companies that do not have any formal policy of prohibiting job applicants or employees from indulging in social networking behaviors which can be harmful to the reputation of the company. But there are several other ways to tackle such problems, and one primary way is to adhere to the maxim that, prevention is better than cure. Keeping in mind the need of filtering job applicants at the very onset of the recruitment process on the basis of their online social networking behavior, the Head of Talent Acquisition of my company has given me the responsibility to search the Internet including social media sites, to determine if job applicants are demonstrating any online behavior that would jeopardize the company. Conducting a thorough research on some of the job applicants I did find some terrible mistakes on their part which automatically qualifies their candidature for rejection.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
