Lorenzo Giovane ENT 250 Husain 1 November 2015 Dr. Shehzad Almani You can tell that Dr. Almani is really passionate about his work. He bought his own 7/11 store and changed it around to be profitable! He even made a bet to one of the sellers that he could turn it around. He completely changed his career around because of his own experiences. Our class has learned a lot from Dr. Almani especially about identifying opportunities. What I learned from Dr. Almani is that networking is one of the most important skills to have as an entrepreneur. Getting our name into the business world will open doors for ourselves in the future. We have to look at these and take risk because every business carries risk, we just have to know how much risk we can manage. Also when looking at these businesses we should be looking at something that we understand and have experience in. If we can see the potential then we should go to the next step. Lastly, Dr. Almani told us to become tactical. If we can adapt and collaborate with others we can become successful. Being tactical is key when running a business and looking for opportunities. The reason being that times are always changing and we need to constantly be on our feet to see what is to come....
